A Day Out with Thomas

A few weeks ago, Nana asked if Konrad would be interested in going to spend the day with Thomas. I had heard about this being in Cordele, but I never took the time to look into it. We were on the way home about a week ago, and a train had just gone by before we crossed the railroad tracks. Konrad immediately said, "Mama, I want to ride a train." I quickly remembered Mrs. Susan asking me about it, so I acted quickly. Needless to say the next weekend we were on our way to Cordele to ride Thomas the Train. We had SO much fun! Konrad was just so excited about every little detail. They had all sorts of things for the kids to do. From bouncy houses, to face painting, to legos, to a train ride…you name it! We were even surprised when we got there to see Konrad's best friend from "school". We sat on the train with them which made it really fun!

Konrad Turns 3!!!

My sweet boy is three years old. 

I honestly cannot believe it.

He has grown so much since last year. 

I can't believe the conversations we have in the car, while i'm cooking, or while we are reading books.

He loves to read.

He loves to be outside.

He loves to hunt  wear camp and pretend hunt.

He LOVES his Daddy!

I am convinced he is a miniature Barney (his Grandaddy).

His imagination is starting to blossom. 

His favorite time of the day is the last ten minutes he spends reading and praying with Kyle before he goes to bed.

This year Konrad wanted a Paw Patrol cake.

We just had our family come for cake and ice cream.

It was a fun party!

Konrad, we love you so much! We are so proud of the little boy you are. Thank you for knowing exactly how to make us smile and laugh. We are so thankful for the personality God has blessed you with. We wouldn't be the same without you.

Konrad's First Day of MMO 2014

Konrad goes to MMO two days a week.

We love the program where we have him. 

The director and the teachers are super nice. 

From what I can tell, Konrad is quite a character at "school".

Mom asked me a while back when the best time would be for us to take the kids to Panama City.

We decided August would be good since school is back in session for most. 

Well it was still crowded and extremely HOT!! 

We still had a great time! 

Next time we will wait till October or so!

It was so fun to be with mom and Aunt Katie.
