Summer Lovin'

Here's a little glimpse of our summer thus far…
We've only just begun!
We're trying to enjoy every single day with doing something fun!
We're also making lots of memories!
I hope your summer has started with a BaNg!
Enjoy!

The sun comes up
It's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass
And whatever lies before me
Let me be singing
When the evening comes

Bless the Lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship His Holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I'll worship Your Holy name

Barfield Beach Trip 2014

SSI 2014

It's beginning to become an annual trip!
This year it was so much fun!
Having littles and their grandparents together makes any trip fun!
Last year when the family went to the beach it was just Konrad…
This year we had Konrad, Mary Wesley, and Sophia!
Going from one to three in one year…
How fun?!?!
Just think how happy the grandparents were!
Both of their children, the children's spouses, and their three grandchildren in one place…
It was awesome!
There are fewer things that make me happy
than seeing grandparents and their grandchildren together!
We played on the beach, Konrad swam  jumped in the pool 9000 times,
ate good food, and visited together.
We even all went out to eat as a family with the children.
It was so delightful!
Here are some pictures from our trip!
Hope you enjoy!

It's a pj picture!
These two have some fun days ahead!

I guess this is how it goes…
I take two pictures.
One smiles in the first, the other smiles in the next.

Mary Wesley has been walking taking steps since ten months.
She is finally getting to where she walks more and more.
This particular night on the beach she decided she'd walk every where!

Happy Girl!

Yep, she's got him wrapped around her little finger!

My girl!

Mommy

"Hey guys…wait for me."

Mary Wesley ate enough sand at the beach to fill up a coke can.
Yal, i'm serious. Every time I turned around she was eating a handful.
It did not matter what I did!

The best Nana and Grandaddy in the world!

Park fun!

Konrad eating his "Superman" ice cream!

She continues her tradition of snoozing on the beach!

Sweet girl!

My boy!

As you can see, we had a blast.
It was the most relaxing joyous time I have had in a long time!
I can assure you there were many more pictures!
The blog can only hold so many! :)

My family has always lived so close, so
it's new for me to only see some of my family every now and then.
We stay in touch for sure, but there is nothing like us all being in place at the same time for a significant amount of time!
Let me say…meeting my beautiful sweet niece for the first time was the highlight of the week!
Sophia made me an aunt, and I am forever grateful!

I can't wait to see her and her parents again!
I am so excited about the adventures my children will get to take with their cousins!
It's going to be awesome!

I hope you all have a great weekend!

You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.
Isaiah 55:12

Praise the LORD from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths…

I finished before we got to the beach.

I finished it in two days!
It was so good!

Day 153- The first produce from our garden!
Squash and Zucchini…it was awesome~

Day 154- Coloring with my little lefty!!

There you have it!
I hope you have had a blessed week so far.
Don't ever forget to enjoy each day the Lord gives you here!
But ALWAYS remember…
For believers, this is NOT our home!
I found this on Facebook, and it spoke to me!
I love Ann Voskamp.
You can find here blog here.
Ann writes these profound words, "All my brokenness is a whisper that I don't belong, and every time I don't feel I like belong, the Scarred and Rejected God whispers, 'Come here, beloved.' And the longer I live, the more I feel like an exile. This is a gift. The exiled make his extravagant love their home."
I hope it speaks to you!
Happy Wednesday!

Birthday Recap

WOW!
It's been a while since I have posted!
Sorry about that!
We have been busy, busy, busy…in a good way!
I will have lots of recaps coming up!
First…my birthday!
It was one of the best birthdays I can remember!
Nothing extravagant, no huge gift to tell you about…just family and sweet friends!
Kyle and the kids made the day so special by just being home and hanging out with me.
This is how it went!

I started my day off with a jog with these guys!
The deer flies swarmed us, but we made it!

Then I ran errands with this little guy.
We had lots of fun things to get for our beach trip.
He was so sweet!

Then we met Jordy, Lindsey, and Dallas for a lunch date at Judy's Sandwich Shop in Perry.
It was so fun!
These two were quite the entertainment for everyone!

After naps my mom came and got the kiddos.
Kyle and I went on a date to Bonefish Grill.
This was the first time we ate there, and I can promise you it will not be the last!
It was awesome!

We met Lindsey and Jordy after supper and did some shopping at River Crossing.
I got these two books to read while we were at the beach.
Needless to say I finished one before we left for the beach and started and finished the other when we got home from the beach. I didn't even read at the beach.
We had too much fun playing!

After shopping, we decided to go bowling…I came in last!

Then we headed to Steak-n-Shake.

It was a fun, fun day!
I can't believe I will be thirty next year!
Time flies when you're having fun!

This year I will be holding on the promise that God knows the plans He has for us!
They prosper us and do not harm us.
They give us a hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
I'll be relying on the fact that God has planned the year He has for me.
I just need to trust and believe that He knows what is best!

I hope you have a blessed week.
